Brilliant Stars is the eighth expansion of the Pokmon Trading Card Game’s Sword & Shield Series. It was released on February 25, 2022. The set features over 170 cards, including new Pokmon V and VSTAR cards, as well as new Trainer and Energy cards. Some of the most popular cards in the set include Arceus VSTAR, Charizard VSTAR, and Lumineon V.
The Brilliant Stars expansion is notable for its focus on the Sinnoh region of the Pokmon world. Many of the cards in the set feature Pokmon that are native to Sinnoh, such as Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup. The set also includes several cards that feature characters from the Pokmon Diamond and Pearl video games, such as Dawn and Cyrus.
