Chattanooga, often spelled “Chatta nooga,” is a city in the southeastern United States, along the Tennessee River. It is the county seat of Hamilton County, Tennessee, and the principal city of the Chattanooga metropolitan area, which encompasses Hamilton and seven adjacent counties in Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama with a population of about 550,000.
Chattanooga is known for its scenic beauty, particularly around Lookout Mountain and the Tennessee River. The city is also home to several notable attractions, including the Tennessee Aquarium, the Hunter Museum of American Art, and the International Towing and Recovery Hall of Fame and Museum.
