President’s Day is a federal vacation in the USA that honors all former presidents of the USA. It’s noticed on the third Monday of February every year.
President’s Day was initially established in 1885 as Washington’s Birthday to commemorate the birthday of George Washington, the primary president of the USA. In 1971, the vacation was expanded to incorporate all former presidents and was renamed President’s Day.
