Rodham rye, often called Clinton rye, is a type of rye whiskey named after former United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. It is produced by the Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, and is made from a mash of 95% rye and 5% malted barley. Rodham rye is aged for a minimum of four years in new, charred oak barrels.
Rodham rye is a smooth, spicy whiskey with a complex flavor profile. It has notes of caramel, vanilla, oak, and spice, with a long, lingering finish. Rodham rye is bottled at 94 proof and is available in 750ml and 1 liter bottles.
